Artful Angel Color Palette Challenge #321

Hello friends!  It has been  bit since I've blogged; life has a habit of doing that to you sometimes :)

However, today I am back with a burst of color and a card to inspire you for the Color Palette Challenge with Artful Angel.  Each month Charis chooses randomly a color palette from The Color Catalogue by Sarah Renae Clark, and this month it is #321.

This color palette contains shades of beautiful oranges and reds and yellows with some muted greys as well!

For my project this month, I stamped piut the girl mermaid from the Mer-Mazing Friends stamp set and colored her using my Caran d'Ache Luminance pencils.  The color catalogue has given us the colors to use from the Prismacolor Premiere pencils, but I have converted them myself.  I used the following Luminance pencils:

Skin:  069, 866, 862, 872, 801
Hair:  407, 808, 803, 802
Tail:  599, 350, 583, 872, 801, 034

I will see you again soon with more inspiration and don't forget to come and join us each month for the color palette challenge using Sarah Renae Clark's The Color Catalogue!

Little Super Hero with Saturated Canary

Do you ever have a stamp company (or two...or six) that is no longer around but you wish they would come back?!?  I do, and Saturated Canary is one of them.  I created this good vibes special notes keeper for my grandson Colton to keep his certificates, awards, good notes in for school using the Little Super Hero stamp set from Saturated Canary.  He is in kindergarten and may need some encouragement :)

Be Creative with Colorado Craft Company

Hey friends, I am dropping by today to share a small art journal page I created featuring the Be Creative Stamp Set from Colorado Craft Company.  I coloured this image using my Caran d'Ache Luminance pencils and paired it with a sentiment from Catherine Pooler and some dies from AALL & Create.

Oddball Moth Girl with Stamping Bella

Good day my friends!  Remember when I said there are certain stamp sets that you just can't help but color over and over again?  Well, this Oddball Moth Girl stamp from Stamping Bella is another one that I just love and could color her in many different colour palettes!

This was the first image I coloured with my Kalour colored pencils when I first got them and fell in love with them.  I didn't keep track of what colours I used sadly.  I paired it with the AALL & Create die set called Intricatags as well as sentiment stamps from Artful Angel and Impression Obsession.

Hello It's Me with Polkadoodles

Good afternoon!  For my project this week, I used the sweet puppy and his phone from the Hello It's Me stamp set from Polkadoodles.   I also used paper from the Pretty Colourful paper pack as the background and stamped and coloured the images right on top of the patterned paper :)  To finish off this card, I added part of the sentiment on top of a die from the Scallop Rectangles and Tags metal die set.

I coloured this image using my Prismacolor Premiere pencils in the following colours:
Grey:  935, 1058, 1054, 1052, 1050, 938
Pink:  947, 930, 994, 1014
Coral:  947, 945, 926, 939, 927
And lastly, I added some white highlights with my white Jelly Roll pen.
