Some Saturated Canary with Quick Creations, Just Because!

I have another sweet card for Quick Creations, yes it's a busy week this week!  For this project, I created a "Just Because" card using the "Casey" rubber stamp from Saturated Canary and LDRS.

I finished this project using paper from the Bo Bunny "Madeleine" collection, some Prima Flowers Fabric Leaves, Petaloo "Burlap Blossoms", the Make a Card #5 die set from CC Designs, "Snowy Day" Enamel Dots from CC Designs, and some twine and flowers from my stash.

I think this is my most favorite card this month, this paper is to die for! and this color combination happens to be one of my faves too ;)

A Watercolor Card with Sweet Stamps

I created a watercolor card for Sweet Stamps today, using some of their awesome products :)

I created a watercolor background using my Kuretake watercolor paints, and stamped the Antique Leaf Scroll Border in Versamark Ink and heat embossed it with Medieval Metals embossing powder.

I stamped and heat embossed the Three Rose Garland stamp also with Medieval Metals embossing powder and then watercolored them as well.  The sentiment is from the Framed Handwritten Words stamp set and is stamped with Ranger Archival Ink.

I added a fun piece of pink ribbon, and my card is complete :)

You can find all the linked products in the Sweet Stamps shop, along with tons of other fun stuff to play with.

See you next Thursday with more fun inspiration for Sweet Stamps!

Miss Anya Hats Off with Quick Creations

I have created a fun 'inspired' card for you this week, using The Greeting Farm's Miss Anya Hats.  Unfortunately, this stamp set is no longer available but Noelle Martin at Quick Creations has several other Miss Anya sets available :)

To complete this card, I used paper from the Kaisercraft "Fairy Dust" collection, Kaisercraft Mini Blooms in Coconut, the LDRS Creative Gilded Doily Die, Magnolia Doohickey Flowers dies and the sentiment and some bling from my stash.

I love how this card turned out, and it's much nicer even in person.  This stamp is one of my favorites of the Miss Anya sets, and unfortunately it's no longer available.  I have linked instead to the other Miss Anya sets that Noelle has in her shop at Quick Creations.

Stop by again soon for more fun inspiration!

Some Spring Inspiration with Quick Creations

Hello everyone!  It's a long weekend here this weekend, and my daughter Paige's 16th birthday!  Happy Birthday Pnut!  I love you with all my heart!

On that note, lol, I have a fun and loving Spring themed card for you today for Quick Creations, using the clear stamp "Nancy Gardens" from CC Designs.

I created this easel card using paper from the Doodlebug Design "Spring Garden" collection, the CC Designs "Vine" die, CC Designs "Mushroom Border"die, and some Petaloo "Burlap Blossoms", as well as some flowers from my stash :)

I wanted something with a spring feel to it for the sentiment, and when I came across this little poem by Alfred Lord Tennyson, I knew it was perfect.  And what a great sentiment it is on a card!

I colored her with my Copics and Prismacolor Premiere pencils, but I'm sorry, I didn't write down the recipe lol.

You can find the linked products in Noelle Martins online shop at Quick Creations, along with much ,much more!  Be careful, things may find a way of jumping into your cart hahahaha.

Blue Roses with Sweet Stamps

Hello all!

Before I get into my inspiration for this week, I want to give a shout-out to not only all the people evacuated from their homes in Fort McMurray this week (you are all in our thoughts), but also to the first responders who have been going non-stop since the start of the devastation.  These men and women have been working endless hours to save lives and property, and every single one of them deserves our admiration and respect.  They definitely have mine.

OK, on to happier things (I'm sorry...it's on my mind).  I have created an elegant card for Sweet Stamps this week using the gorgeous Entwined Roses and Beautiful Day stamp sets.

I colored the roses using my Copics, Premiere Prismacolor pencils and some odorless mineral spirits.  Such a fun medium to play with ;)

You can find both of the linked products in the Sweet Stamps online store...see you there!

Thinking of You with Leah

I have a water colored card for you today for Sweet Stamps.  This is the Cabbage Rose red rubber stamp, and for the sentiment I used the Framed Handwritten words stamp set.  I stamped the cabbage rose with Memento Gray Flannel and water colored it with Inktense pencils, but before I painted it, I masked it and stamped three more times with Memento Desert Sand.

I also masked off the main flower after it was painted and gave it a shadow with Stormy Sky Distress Ink.  I've always wanted to try a spotlight technique, and I think it turned out great :)  I cut the oval out and popped it up on dimensional adhesives.

The linked products can be found in the Sweet Stamps online store, along with many other wonderful stamps and crafty things to 'play' with.  And don't forget to play along with our two monthly challenges.  This one starting today is anything goes, and in two weeks our Anything but a Card challenge starts.

Come back soon for more fun and inspiration!
