Sing me a Lullaby with Quick Creations

This week for Quick Creations, I completed a 5 x 7 shadowbox frame using a wonderful new (ish) rubber stamp image from Whimsy, designed by Sylvia Zet!  I absolutely adore Sylvia's images, they are so lovely.

I colored this sweet girl on vellum and I was so pleased with it, that I thought...why put it on just a card?  I want her to be kept and cherished for a long time!  So, I decided to put her in a shadow box frame, and I am so glad I did!

I colored her with my Prismacolor pencils (my absolute favorite medium!) in the following colors:

Skin:  PC927, 939, 1081, 935
Scarf:  PC1005, 1097, 1067
Dress:  PC1019, 1081, 1078
Bird:  PC1088, 936, 1027, 942, 947
Wings:  PC1050, 1052, 938

Also over on the Quick Creations blog, there are monthly challenges, and December's challenge is Jingle Bells!  Use the lyrics or an image of a bell in your creation, how easy is that!  Come on over and join us here.
