Flying By with Twistoon

 Hello Hello!  I am sending you some love today with this fun digital stamp from Twistoon called Ralph's Paper Plane!

I've colored this fun image up using my Copic Markers and made it the star of the show by layering it over some patterned paper creating a thin border and popping it up to create some dimension.  Look, he even has racing gloves and shiney sunglasses on!

Hey! I'm thinking About You!

 Good day my friends!  Popping in to share a project with you today for Artful Angel using the Hey Hey Hey stamp set from Catherine Pooler.

This is such a versatile stamp set!  It can be used for masculine or feminine cards, for children or adults, and even seniors!

For this card, I chose a more masculine color palette and created a plaid background with my Copic markers.  I stamped the large empty Hey sentiment and also colored it with my Copics and then deepened the shading with my Prismacolor Premiere pencils.

To finish it off, I added another sentiment and some of my favorite enamel dots.

Coffee Break with Artful Angel

 Hello, hello!  Is it time for a coffee break yet? Lol.  It is at Artful Angel!  The new release for January includes this fantastic new stamp set called Coffee Break.

I created a fun gift card holder perfect for any coffee, tea or hot chocolate lover!

The inside of the card holds a gift card in a pocket.

Roam Far with Artful Angel

 Hey hey friends!  I am back again for Artful Angel and this time I am sharing another card created using the Roam Far stamp set which features the adorable Savannah Sloth illustrated by Dustin Pike!

I love creating the backgrounds for this sweet adventurer!  I have colored this card using my Copic markers and Prismacolor Premiere pencils.

I will be back again soon with some more projects featuring some fun new stamp sets from Artful Angel!

New Watercolor Whimsy Collaboration with StampGrl (Dalis)

 Good day my friends!  I am excited to start this new collaboration with Dalis (StamprGrl).  We were supposed to start in January, but...I ended up catching every virus known to man in January and was sick for pretty much the whole month.  I am now on the mend though and we decided to roll January's project into February, so you get 2 projects this month :)

A little background:  Dalis and I decided to do a collaboration with watercolors as our medium.  We randomly chose 12 stamp companies from our combined stash and assigned one company to each month.  Dalis and I won't have the same stamps, but that's part of the fun of it...you get two different inspiration pieces from the same company every month!

January's company is Stampendous, House Mouse collection specifically!  And for February we have Avery Elle.

Here is my January creation using Stampendous/House Mouse Designs' Happy Hoppers Bouncing Bunnies!

They look like they're having loads of fun don't they!  My projects are watercolored using Prima Marketing watercolors.  

For my February project, I worked with Avery Elle's Peonies stamp set.

Such a fun month for this new collaboration.  Dalis and I will be back on March 10 with some more watercolor fun using stamps from Stampendous!
