Spring Flowers Gome with Polkadoodles

 Good day friends!  It's time for Digichoosday on the Polkadoodles blog today, and I am here to share this fun and very Spring-themed (yes, it's wishful thinking for sure!) Thank You card featuring the Spring Flowers Gnome, a digital sentiment and some digital paper.  I've paired the free digital Thank You sentiment with the Bella Bear Morning Coffee digital paper, as well as some digital paper from the Paper Heaven 2: Horace and Boo Collection.

I coloured this sweet gnomie using my Kalour coloured pencils, and listed them here along with the names of their combinations.  Keep your eyes open soon for a jam packed blog post listing my colour combinations for Kalour pencils, as well as Luminance, Holbein, Polychromos and Prismacolor Premiere Pencils!  I have had some fun making these colour combinations!

Dream Home by Woodware Stamps

 Good day friends!  Have you discovered Woodware stamps yet?  I have and I am obsessed with them.  Especially the ones designed by Francois Read.  I have started a collection, I'm gonna be real lol.  Especially Francois' gnomes!  They are stinking adorable and are currently one of my top two absolute favourite gnomes :) (if you want to see my other favourite, stay tuned ;))

I stamped this Dream Home stamp in a grey ink (moving crafty stuff to a new place...) because I couldn't find my black ink lol.  It's a different look, but not one I think I will repeat.  I colored the image using my Copic Markers and layered it over some patterned paper from my stash (also a chore to find lol).  I added some enamel dots and some white highlights with my white gel pen.  I added the sentiment from the set and popped it up on dimensional adhesive to finish it off.

I'm sure you've seen some of the other Woodware stamp sets I have, I am enjoying them thoroughly.

Magic Mushrooms with Woodware Stamps

 I am in love with gnomes.  Can you tell? Lol!  I have created a mini slimline card for you today featuring the Magic Mushrooms stamp set from Woodware, owned by Creative Expressions.

Fairy Door with Woodware Designs

 Good day my friends, the snow is starting to stay on the ground here in the north.  How is the weather in your neck of woods? 

I am here to share a single-layer card with you today featuring the Fairy Door stamp set from Woodware Designs.  This company is fast becoming one of my favourites; stamp designer Francois Reed in particular!

I have colored this image wiht my Copic markers.  This stamp set is available (on sale!) at Scrapbook.com :)

Unfortunately I had a sticky marker and had to add some colored pencil over top to, not only deepend the shadows, but also to combat the shine fromt he sticky marker (ew).

What do you do to combat the shine left from a sticky marker?  I have also heard people use their embossing powder tools over the image to get a matte finish back.  Let me know in the comments below what you tips and tricks are for sticky marker shine!

Spring Hedgehog Gnome with Polkadoodles

 Well, hello there!  Have you all recovered from the long weekend yet?  I have, but I really enjoy 3-day weekends!  Today I am sharing a single layer card that I created using the Spring Hedgehog Gnome from Polkadoodles.  I have fallen quite madly in love with gnomes and I'm coloring all the gnomes I can find!  Polkadoodles has a plethora of gnome digital stamps, and I will be going shopping again soon :)

 Who doesn't love having gnome-y friends?  I would love love to have them!  I have created this friend card using the Gnome Friends stamp set from Woodware Stamps.

Sweet Sentiment August Class and Kit Project

It's time to show my project using the August kit from Sweet Sentiment!

The kit for August includes this sweet gnome digital stamp from Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez and an awesome mushroom die and cloud stencil, both from CC Designs! :) I used the cloud stencil from CC Designs and my Distress Inks to create the background and added some of the mushroom die cuts to add more depth.  Then I fussy cut the gnomes and added them on top!  The sentiment is one I had in my stash.  All in all, a super cute but totally flat card you can send to a friend!
