Season's Greetings with Joy Clair Designs

Are we there yet?  Not quite, but we're getting closer!  I have created a fun Christmas card to share with you today featuring the Merry & Bright digital stamp set from Joy Clair Designs.

Do you know what draws me to digital designs the most??  It's the fact that I can make them whatever size I want!  Sometimes I like to create a scene with multiple images, and sometimes I like to choose one image and print it out as big as I can to have it fit on a card.  This is what makes them so much fun!  Plus, if you are an alcohol marker or pencil colorist, any ink jet printer will do the job.

This image is from the Merry & Bright digital stamp collection and I have colored it with my Copic markers, layered it over some patterned paper and added a sentiment from the same digital stamp set.

Digital stamps are so versatile.

That's all for me today my friends, I will see you again soon!

Santa's Crew with Artful Angel

Good morning my friends,  I am here to share a Christmas tag with you today featuring the Santa's Crew stamp set from Artful Angel.  This stamp set is part of the new release from Artful Angel and includes a reindeer, two elves and a couple of sentiments.

I used the reindeer image and colored him with my Copic markers.  I added some snowflake die cuts from a Catherine Pooler stamp and die set (from one of the first few Stamps of Approval kits!) and layered them over some Christmas patterned paper.  The sentiment was also part of the same patterned paper sheet.

Such a classic Christmas stamp set that pairs perfectly with the Santa and The Mrs stamp set and the Big Christmas stamp set also from Artful Angel!

Merry & Bright with Joy Clair Designs

I am back and hopefully fully on the mend!  The white stuff is starting to layer on the ground and I am well on my to meeting my Christmas card goal!  I am sharing a fun Christmas card with you today featuring the Merry & Bright digital stamp set from Joy Clair Designs.

I printed the present image in this digital stamp set large like I love to do lol.  I colored it with my Copic markers and popped it up on some dimensional adhesive.  I layered it and the sentiment from the same set over some banners I cut from patterned paper.  Lastly I added a bow made from teal colored string and some enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs.

I will see you again soon...I'm going to play in the snow!

Merry Christmas Sentiments with Artful Angel

As we get closer and closer to Christmas, we start pulling out or essential holiday crafting suuplies.  This is one stamp set that is an absolute must for cardmakers!  I created two cards to share with you today using the Big Christmas Stamp Set from Artful Angel.

For this first one, I stamped the sentiment onto white cardstock using Distress Ink and splattered with both the Distress Ink and some gold watercolor.  I layered it over some Christmas-y patterned paper and added some Holiday brads and a red lace bow.

For this second card, I stamped the sentiments in different fonts, with both Distress Ink Oxide and Memento Black Ink.  I also stamped the Christmas sentiment on some separate white cardstock with Memento Black Ink and added some dimensional adhesive.  I splattered both pieces with some gold watercolor and added some bright gold rick rack and some bling to finish it off.

Two fairly simple cards to add to my Christmas card stash.  I will see you again soon with more inspiration using some of the other stampsets from this month's new release at Artful Angel.  Have a great day!

Making Memories Christmas Bears with Joy Clair Stamps

Hey hey peeps!  Remember I asked how many ways can we color these awesome Making Memories bears?

Well, I have colored them in more traditional colors this time and they are so cute!

I colored these bears in more woodsy and traditional colors.
If you know me at all, you know I am a huge outdoors fan (in the summer, not so much in the winter lol) so making these bears a little rustic was so much fun.

I paired them some fun patterned paper, again added a circle punch out layered under a cardboard heart.

I added a couple of different holiday sentiments from Love Santa and Making Memories digital stamp sets and lastly added my favorite enamel dots.

The finished cards are very similar to the pink and teal bears I did earlier this month, but the different color palette and patterned papers make them so different!

Last time, I showed you Joy's tropical bears, this time I'm showing you Kanan's polar bear!

I will see you again real soon with some more fun projects, and I do believe Martha has a new release in mind very soon!

Making Memories Christmas Bears for Joy Clair Designs

Hello hello!  I don't know about you guys, but it's finally starting to look like winter up here in the Great White North!

We've had two significant snow falls in the past 5 days, and we went from green grass to absolutely pure white all at once!
These Christmas Bears from the Making Memories digital stamp set were perfect to color up and match the new mood board for this month, and they truly make me think of snow too!

How gorgeous are those colors for winter??!!!! I absolutely love them!  So when I saw these bears and this mood board I couldn't help myself but put them together.

Making Memories

I colored these bears with my Copic markers in pinks and purples and teals, ohhh those colors make my heart sing.

I added them to a patterned paper bokeh background (which truly looks like falling snow) and layered a teal circle under a cardboard heart:)

Lastly, I added a sentiment from the Love Santa digital stamp set and finished them off with some enamel dots.

I wonder how many ways we can color these bears?  I have some different colors coming this month as well. And Ohmergersh!  Joy made hers into tropical bears for Christmas in July!

If you want to join in on the fun with loads of inspiration (and mood boards!) come and join the Joy Clair Stamps Facebook Group :)

I will see you again soon, until then, stay safe and happy my friends :)

Planner Cover Embellishment with Joy Clair Stamps

Hello crafty peeps!  I have embellished the front of my new 2022 work planner with a digital stamp from Joy Clair Designs called Christmas Joy.

This digital stamp set is called Christmas Joy and includes several different Christmas images, including a wreath with Poinsettias.  I love digital images, and one of the main reasons is that I can resize the image however large I want.  Sometimes I even only use part of it :)

For this project, I enlarged the digital image and only colored the Poinsettias in blue with my Copic markers.
I layered them onto some scrap patterned paper, and also added a vinyl sticker from a local artist.

Lastly, I die cut some letters for the year and gave them a shadow effect with my white gel pen.

I'm not sure how long this will last, as the planner cover is vinyl, but I think I might try some clear sticky vinyl on top (like Mac-Tac!)  If they decide to peel off, I will turn them into a bookmark for my planner :)  No worries!

I will be back again soon, but if you are looking for some fun inspiration, come and check out the Joy Clair Facebook group:)

See you again soon!

I am back again with my third project for the Crafty Christmas Collaboration with Beth at Bourbon Creek Crafts.  This time I decided to create some Christmas cards using the same paper pad, Anna Griffin's Yuletide Greetings.  This was a 6x6 paper pad from 2013.

Sweet Poinsettia Tags with Sweet Stamps!

I have some sweet poinsettias for you today, which I have used to make Christmas tags for Sweet Stamps LLC.

I have the following stamps from Sweet Stamps LLC:

Antique Leaf Scroll Border H5003
Poinsettia and Holly Leaf 7053
Poinsettia Garland 7071
Simple Poinsettia 7068

These were so much fun to color with my Copics, and because I'm such a beginner it was easier to do with the smaller images, and they turned out so pretty I just had to make some tags with them.

You can find these rubber stamps, and many more over at the Sweet Stamps website!  And don't forget about our two monthly challenges over on the challenge blog!

A Peaceful Christmas

We really need some peace this Christmas, that is what I pray for.  And when I realized I had this Peaceful Christmas Tree stamp by Magnolia Stamps, I knew it was just what I needed.

I completed this project with Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Vintage Photo and a Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Pen too :)

Such a sweet image, and it can be used for many things...I have made a Christmas Tree ornament :)  You can find this and many other Magnolia Stamps in Noelle Martins online shop at Quick Creations.

Come back soon for more fun Christmas projects, and well, others too, lol.
