Above and Beyond with Joy Clair Designs

I have another floral design to share with you today using the Above and Beyond digital stamp set from Joy Clair Designs.

I decided to color this image with a monochromatice color pallette.  I used the E40 colors along with some white Prismacolor pencil to brighten the highlights.  I layered the image over some patterned paper from my stash and added some enamel dots.  Lastly, I printed out a digital sentiment from the same set and popped it up on some dimensional adhesive.

Do you sometimes have a person in mind when you are creating a card or coloring a particular image?  I did with this one.  My daughter had just crashed her car the day before and one of the many things that stuck out for us in this experience was the nice people that came out of their homes to assist her!  In particular, a lady named Linda who heard and saw the crash from her kitchen window and immediately came to my daughter's aid.  My daughter and her friend are fine (the car is another story), don't worry, but they had never been in an accident before and are only in their early 20's.  So, it was an upsetting experience for both of them.  Paige mentioned she would like to give Linda a thank you card for her assistance that day and so this card came out of that situation.  Thank you Linda, you are a godsend :)

You Fill My Day with Joy Clair Designs

Well, hello my friends!  Are you ready for Spring yet?  I know I am.  We are still getting snow and winter storms here (OMG!) and I am very much ready to see green grass and unfrozen lakes!  To battle this, I have colored up some floral images from Joy Clair Designs this month.  For this project, I have created a card using the You FIll my Day digital stamp set :)

I colored this image using my Copic Markers and Prismacolor Pencils in fun spring colors.  I layered the image over some patterned paper from my stash and added some enamel dots.  Lastly, I added the digital image from the stamp set.

Are you in love with digital stamps yet?  If you are, have you been to the Joy Clair Designs shop yet?  So much digital goodness to fill your day!  If not, why not?  Tell me in the comments and let's have a conversation about it!

Season's Greetings with Joy Clair Designs

Are we there yet?  Not quite, but we're getting closer!  I have created a fun Christmas card to share with you today featuring the Merry & Bright digital stamp set from Joy Clair Designs.

Do you know what draws me to digital designs the most??  It's the fact that I can make them whatever size I want!  Sometimes I like to create a scene with multiple images, and sometimes I like to choose one image and print it out as big as I can to have it fit on a card.  This is what makes them so much fun!  Plus, if you are an alcohol marker or pencil colorist, any ink jet printer will do the job.

This image is from the Merry & Bright digital stamp collection and I have colored it with my Copic markers, layered it over some patterned paper and added a sentiment from the same digital stamp set.

Digital stamps are so versatile.

That's all for me today my friends, I will see you again soon!

Christmas Wish with Joy Clair Designs

I am back again today, yes, it's catchup day after being down and out for the last two weeks with Covid.  And sadly, now my daughter is also recovering.  Anywho...I am back to share a Christmas card with you today featuring the Christmas Wish digital stamp set from Joy Clair Designs.

I colored this skiing Santa with my Copic markers and then layered hi over some die cut patterned paper to look like a hill.  Not everyone has a white Christmas like we do up here in the North, so I thought it would be fun!  I added some die cut snowflakes to mix it up hahaha.  I layered up the sentiment on some dimension to give it interest and finished it off with some of my favorite enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs.

I am all caught up with Joy Clair projects, so I will be back on the 19th to share another fun Christmas card with you!  See you soon;)
